I love Flora Jung. Not only does she have a fantastic design sensibility and enough confidence in her abilities to start a label at the age of 21, but, at the age of 30, having been hailed the “Queen of Prints” by Vogue, she decides to give it all up to move to France and rear a family. So the Parson’s trained designer leaves America and drops out of the working world until she determines that her children can manage and she’s ready to re-launch her label. This is guts of the highest order and I haven’t even spoken about the fashion yet. Pucci eat your heart out.
