Liz Jones, a notoriously controversial writer for The Mail Online has crafted another shocking piece of journalism, seemingly maliciously targeted at Holly Willoughby (and other celebs) for posting up pictures of themselves without make-up on.
What horror!
Her issue was, in fact, that not wearing make-up was anti feminist and that choosing to go without it 'is to denounce womanhood itself. It is arrogant, over-confident one-upmanship.'

| After slating celebrities for their make-up free photos, Jones then posed for one herself |
She then goes on to say these wonderfully contradictory words 'I am not vain, or frivolous, I am DEEP. My husband loves me for who I am: naturally gorgeous.' (So why not have more make-up free days then?)
The whole thing just doesn't make much sense to me, and seems as though she has no real idea what she's talking about. She just ends up slating Holly Willoughby, saying on screen in all her make-up she resembles a 'drag queen', yet without it she's fake.
Personally, I think Jones is just a little bitter that her attempt at a natural face photo wasn't as attractive as Willoughby's, and that alone lead her to crafting this ridiculous piece. Jones has no more reason to call herself a journalist than any other online blogger does!
Anyway, what do you think of going make-up free? Have you read the article? Share your views, we'd love to get a discussion going!
